A Very Brief Account of a Colorful Life

A big box of new crayons!! The colors!! The wonderful smell!! The best gift as a child!!!

At the age of eight I won my first art award. Then, with a graduation gift, I purchased my first set of oil paints and I fell in love again with the smells, the colors, and the feel of the paint.  When introduced to pastels, I found my perfect match--vibrant and sensuous colors--immediate, brilliant, and very suited to my way of working.

I invite you to view my work--rather than my formal CV listing many group and solo exhibitions, awards, etc.--my paintings are my credentials. I haven't changed much through the years from the child mentioned above-- I have been coloring my way through life, ever the kid with a new box of crayons!
